Lazy Weekend

It's almost noon and i'm still not dressed. Sitting here clutching a cuppa , listening to Sun City Girls and trying to feel awake 2 hours after getting outta bed. I'm trying hard to caffinate myself though 'cause I wanna get some drawing done before heading out to this::::

The OFF BNL MTL program during the month of May assembles a selection of activities through out Montréal. The program is spread amongst galleries and artist run centres along as well as punctual and ephemeral projects (performances, launches, interventions). Vehemently independent the OFF BNL MTL underlines the dynamism of Montreal's artistic community, flourishing through a multitude of associations this affair exists as an idea shared and put into action by a community. With no governing theme assigned it demonstrates the community's capacity to self-organize, convene, define and celebrate upon their own conditions..

You are cordially invited to the official launch of the OFF BNL MTL, which will be held Saturday May 2nd at 4:15 pm, during the opening of the exhibition The Wrong Corpse, presented at the Leonard & Bina Ellen Gallery at Concordia University. This event will be graced with a performance by COZIC, honorary presidents of our inaugural manifestation.
